Refund policy

This policy applies to all orders placed with ArtSight LLC-FZ (“ArtSight”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in the Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Trade Licence No. 2650268.01. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Nothing in this policy limits any right you hold under applicable mandatory consumer protection law, including the law of the country in which you reside.
1. Made-to-order products
Every ArtSight print is produced specifically for your order. We hold no stock of finished prints. For this reason, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. Please review the artwork, format and medium carefully before completing your purchase.
2. Cancellation
You may cancel your order free of charge within 12 hours of placing it, provided production has not started. To cancel, write to info@artsight.org with your order number. Where production has started, the made-to-order principle in section 1 applies.
3. Damaged, defective or incorrect orders
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or does not correspond to what you ordered, contact us at info@artsight.org within 30 days of delivery, with your order number and photographs of the item and its packaging. We will resolve the issue by producing and shipping a replacement at no cost to you. Where a return of the original item is required, we arrange and pay for it: you bear no return shipping cost for a damaged, defective or incorrect order.
Where a replacement is not possible, where the replacement is also defective, or where you are entitled to a refund under applicable law, we refund the full amount paid for the affected item, including the original delivery charge and any tax included in that amount. This section applies to all orders, wherever delivered, and is in addition to any statutory warranty or conformity rights you hold.
4. Delivery destinations
ArtSight currently delivers within the United Arab Emirates only, and section 1 applies to all orders. Nothing in this policy limits any right you hold under applicable mandatory consumer protection law.
5. What is not covered
The following are not treated as a defect and do not give rise to a replacement or refund under section 3:
- minor variation between the colours shown on your screen and the printed artwork, which is a normal characteristic of fine art printing;
- damage caused after delivery, or by improper handling, framing or display;
- a size, format or medium chosen in error by the customer;
- delay, additional charge or failed delivery caused by an incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by you.
6. Non-delivery
If your order has not been delivered within 45 days of order confirmation, and the delay is not attributable to an incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by you, you may cancel the order and receive a full refund.
7. Refund processing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 business days of approval. Refunds are made in UAE Dirhams, in the amount originally charged; where your card was debited in another currency, the amount credited back by your bank may differ because of the exchange rate it applies. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the amount may take additional days to appear on your statement. Refunded amounts correspond to the full amount paid for the affected items, including any tax included in that amount, plus outbound delivery where section 3 or section 6 provides for it.
8. Charitable contribution adjustment
ArtSight donates a share of its revenue from each sale to a partner Foundation. Where an order is refunded in full or in part, the contribution associated with the refunded items is adjusted accordingly in ArtSight’s subsequent settlement with the Foundation. This adjustment is internal to ArtSight and does not affect the amount refunded to you.
9. Severability
If any provision of this policy is found to be unenforceable under the mandatory law applicable to your purchase, that provision applies to the maximum extent permitted, and the remainder of the policy remains in force. Where applicable law grants you a right more favourable than this policy, that right prevails.
